FC Cincinnati are set to take on O&M FC of the Dominican Republic in Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, first travelling to the Dominican Republic for the opening leg before returning home to TQL Stadium for the second leg of the opening round of the continent's top club competition. The Orange and Blue will travel to Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic on Wednesday, February 18 to face O&M FC at Estadio Cibao FC in the first leg of the home-away series. Kick off is set for 8 p.m. ET. The return to Cincinnati and TQL Stadium will come one week later on Wednesday, February 25, with kick off at 7 p.m. ET. Ticketing information for Cincinnati’s home match in the series will be released at a later date. Following the conclusion of Round One, the winner of the FC Cincinnati and O&M FC series will face the series winner of Tigres UANL and Forge FC. Leg One of the Round of 16 matchup between the aforementioned series winners will take place on Thursday, March 12. Leg Two will be held on Thursday, March 19. After being drawn into slot A10, O&M was then selected from Pot 2 to set up the matchup and pit The Orange and Blue against the Dominican side for the first time in club history. It will also be the club's first ever visit to the Dominican Republic. O&M FC, who represent the Universidad Organización y Método, play in the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol and qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup by finishing as runners-up in the 2025 Caribbean Cup. Based out of Santo Domingo, they finished 5th in their league play in 2025 and last won their domestic league in 2020 when they finished top of both the regular season table and won the playoff championships. Known as La Universidad (or The University), O&M FC was founded in 1974 and plays their home matches at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez, which is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic and hosted the 2003 Pan-Am Games. The stadium is also home to the Dominican Republic National Team and seats approximately 27,000 at full capacity. With the bracket official set, FC Cincinnati also knows who they could potentially face in each subsequent round should they advance. With the matchup against O&M FC confirmed, FCC’s potential second round matchup will be against the winner of Liga MX side Tigres UANL and Canadian Premier League side Forge FC – setting up a potential rematch from 2025 where FCC also faced Tigres in the Round of 16 of the Concacaf Champions Cup. While dates and times for either leg of the matchup have not yet been confirmed, as the higher seed FC Cincinnati will first travel to O&M FC before a second leg at TQL Stadium. The two-leg format will see an aggregate score of the two matches decide who advances, with ties being decided on the away-goal rule. FC Cincinnati have advanced out of Round One and into the Round of 16 in each of their previous two entries of the Concacaf Champions Cup. Concacaf is expected to announce match details like date and kickoff times in the coming days now that the draw is set. FC Cincinnati is back in the Concacaf Champions Cup for the third year in a row and will look to start 2026 on the front foot with a matchup in the continental competition.
